Because of InnerVoice, I get to spend my days interacting with high-performing individuals — athletes, CEOs, chefs, and actors. I have always felt right at home among this crowd because of my own history of chasing lofty goals.
But recently that has started to change, and I've recognized that I’ve started feeling disconnected from the high-performers. I was questioning why they would bother putting themselves through the endless hours of training, recovery, focusing on nutrition and doing the hard work when no one is watching. I don't like having the thoughts I was having.
I've been here before, in a place where I 'wish' I could be as fit as I used to be, dreaming of being as focused and driven towards a goal as I once was. What's clear to me is that I'm the only person who can make a change. This is why I am committing to myself and laying it out there for you, to keep me accountable.
